## What your child gains

The Mouratoglou methodology of in-depth, personalised training on Grand Slam-style hard courts, with 4 hrs tennis and 2 hrs fitness daily and a UTR match.

### The Mouratoglou method

The method Patrick Mouratoglou developed with the professional players he has coached, adapted to each player, from beginners up.

### Real training volume

Over the camp: 10 hours of drills and technical work, 10 hours of tactics and strategy, 10 hours of fitness and 2 hours of match review. On court, one coach works with four players.

### Coached by the academy team

Led by Programme Director Johan Van Herck, a former ATP player and Davis Cup captain, and Head Coach Hussein Rashid, with senior, performance and fitness coaches.

### A taste of British boarding

Your child lives in an Epsom College Malaysia boarding house, with house staff living in the house. It is the easiest way to find out if boarding school suits your child.

- **Complete the profile later**: Medical, dietary and activity details go in your account before camp, when it suits you.

## Where camp can lead

The coaches see your child train every day, and your child sees the campus and the house. Before camp ends, the coaches tell you plainly whether a full-time place makes sense and what it would ask of your child and your family. A player who is ready can apply to Epsom College Malaysia as a full-time boarder and train with the academy every day around lessons. Scholarships, where offered, are decided by the school through its own admissions process.

## Questions parents ask

### Which camp suits my child?

The Intensive Camp is beginner and intermediate friendly. The Competition Camp is for players ready for match simulations, competition and daily tactical feedback.

### How do tournaments work?

Each tournament is entered on UTR at least 7 days before it starts. The player or parent registers.

### Can my child bring a phone?

Phones are limited during camp, so players focus and make friends.

### What should my child pack?

Clothing for one week, at least 2 rackets, tennis shoes for hard courts (clay shoes optional), sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a padlock. Laundry runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

### How much spending money?

RM 50 to 100 a day, or at least RM 300 for the camp. A debit card is highly recommended.

### What happens after I book?

We email you, and your account lists the camper profile and forms to complete before camp.

### When do you ask about dietary needs and medication?

After booking. You add dietary needs, allergies and medication to the camper profile in your account before camp.

### How will I know my child arrived?

We email you when your child is checked in at camp. On a chaperoned flight, the chaperone sends an update at each step of the journey.

## If your plans change

- Withdraw more than 60 business days before the programme starts and the fees and any security deposit you paid us are refunded, less a cancellation fee of RM1,000 and any transaction costs, such as bank transfer and payment gateway fees.
- Withdraw after that but before the programme starts, with a reason we accept in writing, and you receive a credit note for the fees paid, valid for one year, less a deferment fee of RM1,000. Without such a reason, the fees paid are forfeited.
- In either case, any security deposit is returned to you, less transaction costs.
- Once the programme has started, nothing is refunded for withdrawal, late arrival or days missed, including through illness.
- If we cancel or change a programme, we offer a refund or new dates, at our discretion.
- If events beyond our control cancel or delay a programme, you receive a credit note for the fees paid, valid for one year.
- Money paid to others, such as transport or hotels, is not refunded by us.
