## Where they train, sleep and are looked after

The pitch, the boarding houses and the dining hall are on one gated campus, so the day runs in one place.

### Facilities

#### Where players train

LALIGA Academy Malaysia hosts its camps at Epsom College Malaysia, in 50 acres of greenery in Bandar Enstek, 15 to 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

- A FIFA-approved 4G pitch, for every clinic and match
- The swimming pool, in the programme on training days
- Sports halls on the same campus
- Boarding houses and the dining hall, where residential players live and eat

### Sleeping and eating

#### Where they sleep and eat

Residential players live in the boarding houses of Epsom College Malaysia, in shared bedrooms. Three meals a day plus snacks in the dining hall; the kitchen is halal, with vegetarian options at every meal.

- Sunday check-in for the Complete and summer camps
- Monday check-in for the Taster Camp
- Day places at most camps; the Scholarship Camp is boarding only

### Care and safety

#### Who looks after them

Houses run on the British boarding model, with resident housemasters and housemistresses living alongside players, and 24/7 on-site pastoral care on a gated campus with CCTV coverage.

The school's Sanatorium is on campus, with medical staff on duty, and your child leaves camp only with you or an adult named in your account. We email you when your child is checked in.

### Evenings

#### After training

The swimming pool, dinner in the dining hall, then time together: badminton, swimming, board games, a talent show and game nights.

Evening workshops led by the LALIGA coaching and performance staff develop the complete player: sports science and nutrition, mental toughness and mindset, and video analysis.

### Extras

#### Extras, at a cost

Optional, and at a cost: airport transfers, English language tuition at all levels, chaperoned flights from select destinations, and excursions in Malaysia. Ask us about any of them with the form below.

## Football and school

A full-time place at Epsom College Malaysia with daily training at LALIGA Academy Malaysia on the same campus. The LALIGA Scholarship Camp is the gateway: evaluation and trials in front of LALIGA Academy Scouts and Epsom College representatives, for scholarships at Epsom and a place in the LALIGA Academy Malaysia Annual Programme. Not a camp: an enrolment, and it starts with a conversation.

## Questions about boarding or care?

Ask us about rooms, meals, medical needs, travel from the airport or which camp suits your child. Use the form below and our camp team will reply by email.

[Ask the camp team](/sports/football#enquiry-form)

## What parents ask

### Who are the camps for?

Boys and girls aged 8 to 17 who love football, at every level. Sessions are grouped by age and ability, so beginners are supported and experienced players are challenged. The Taster Camp suits beginners to intermediate players; the Scholarship Camp is for ages 8 to 16.

### Which camp should my child choose?

Most families start with the Complete Camp: the Winter, Easter and October Camps. The Taster Camp is a shorter first try. In summer, the Professional Camp adds position-specific training, and the Showcase Camp ends in matches against LALIGA Academy teams in front of LALIGA scouts; together they make the two-week Elite Camp. Not sure? Ask us below.

### Is there a day option?

Yes, for most camps there is a day place and a residential place. Residential players check in on Sunday for the Complete and summer camps, and on Monday for the Taster Camp. The Scholarship Camp is boarding only.

### What does the camp include, and what is extra?

UEFA Pro or Advance certified LALIGA coaches, 2 official PUMA kits, training matches, swimming and social activities, and at every camp but the Taster Camp a LALIGA certificate and a personal report. Residential players also have a shared bedroom, 3 meals a day plus snacks and 24/7 pastoral care. Airport transfers, English tuition, chaperoned flights and excursions are extras at a cost.

### Is a camp ever cancelled?

The Winter, Easter and Summer Camps run with a minimum of 14 registered players. If we cancel or change a camp, we offer a refund or new dates, at our discretion, as the terms and conditions say.

### How are children looked after and kept safe?

Players live on a secure, gated 50-acre campus with CCTV, resident house staff and 24/7 on-site pastoral care. At the end, your child leaves only with you or an adult named in your account, who must show identification. Outside arrival and departure days, parents are not permitted at the camp venue; an emergency visit is arranged in advance with our staff.

### What about medical needs, meals and diets?

Add any medical condition, allergy, medication or dietary need to your child's profile after you book, before camp. The school's Sanatorium is on campus with medical staff on duty, and if your child is unwell we tell you the same day. The kitchen is halal, with vegetarian options at every meal. We are careful with allergens but cannot guarantee they are excluded.

### How do we sign up, when are the dates, and what if we cancel?

Dates are in Choose your camp: Sign up on one open to book, or Register interest on a planned one. Withdraw more than 60 business days before camp and the fees are refunded, less a cancellation fee and transaction costs. Later, a reason we accept in writing gives a credit note for one year, less a deferment fee; without one, the fees are forfeited. Nothing is refunded once camp starts. See Terms and conditions.
