Every student plays. Committed athletes train with Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia, GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy or LALIGA Academy Malaysia on the same campus as their lessons.
Sport is part of the school day for all students, not a privilege of the academy athletes. Core sports are taught in games lessons and squad activities, and recreational sports such as squash, touch rugby and table tennis run alongside them.
Fixtures are arranged in swimming, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, cricket, athletics, netball and badminton. The school competes in the Kuala Lumpur Sports League against national and international schools, in FOBISIA invitational tournaments, and in selected Malaysian state school events in athletics and swimming.
The 50-acre campus has a FIFA-approved 4G football pitch, an 11-court ITF-compliant tennis complex, a five-acre floodlit golf facility, an AstroTurf hockey pitch, rugby and cricket pitches with a cricket pavilion, three squash courts, ten badminton courts, two basketball courts, an indoor hockey court, two volleyball courts, a swimming pool, a sports hall, athletics grounds, a fitness centre and a dance studio.
Coaching from Mouratoglou-certified professionals on 11 ITF-grade courts, including the only two indoor clay courts in Southeast Asia. The academy applies the Mouratoglou method: an individual plan for each player, technical and tactical work in small groups, and physical preparation.
PGA-certified coaching with TrackMan studio technology, a 30-bay floodlit driving range and short-game facilities, all on a five-acre golf complex on campus.
The LALIGA methodology with UEFA-level football coaching on a FIFA-approved 4G pitch, using VO3 camera analytics to review each player's performance.

An academy athlete's training is scheduled around lessons rather than after them, and the academy is on the same campus, so there is no travel between school and sport. Tutors and coaches share progress, and the training load is reduced by agreement during examination seasons.
Academy players compete in junior tournaments and leagues in Malaysia and the region, with the academy managing entries, travel and supervision. Results, rankings and match video build the sporting record that university programmes ask for.
Physical preparation and injury prevention are part of every academy programme, with support on site when a player is hurt. Sleep, nutrition and recovery are managed with the boarding house rather than left to the student.
Most students meet the academies at a camp. Coaches assess during the camp and say plainly whether a full-time academy place makes sense and what it would take. A family that wants to go further is introduced to the school's admissions team before the camp ends, who explain what the next step involves.
Students who are already enrolled can trial for an academy through the sports department. Places depend on the coaches' assessment and on the student's ability to carry the training load alongside their year group's academic demands.

High-performance training with match simulations, fitness and tactical feedback for serious development: 5 days of training plus competition.
No. All students play sport through PE, games afternoons and house competitions. The academies are for committed athletes who want daily training and competition alongside school.
The academies assess on potential and attitude as well as current level, and each runs groups by ability and age. A camp is the honest way to find out; the coaches will say where a player stands and what the next step is.
Daily sessions scheduled around lessons, plus weekend competition when the calendar calls for it. The load is set by age and reviewed with tutors, and it is reduced by agreement in examination seasons.
Injury support and physical preparation are part of the academy programme, the Medical Room and Sanatorium are on campus, and the coaches and house staff manage the return to training together with parents.
Yes, by agreement with the coaches involved. Younger students in particular are encouraged to keep playing a range of sports through school games while training in their main one.
The coaches assess during the camp and tell you plainly whether a full-time pathway makes sense. Talk to us about which academy camps are running.
Tell us the sport, your child's age and level, and our team will reply.
