Twelve nights that build your child's English and confidence: small-group lessons every morning, sport every afternoon with the Mouratoglou, LALIGA or GOLFZON Leadbetter academy, and life in a British boarding house. For ages 9 to 14, 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur airport.

Inside the camp
What your child gains
Speaks English with more confidence
English all day, not only in class. Before camp, your child takes the Oxford Placement Test, so lessons start at the right level on day one. Small groups from beginner (A0) to B2. At the end, you receive a written CEFR progress report.
Lives like a British boarder
Your child lives in a boarding house of Epsom College Malaysia, the sister school of Epsom College UK, eats in its dining hall and is cared for by its staff. The school holds COBIS Double Beacon status for Student Welfare and for Leadership. It is the easiest way to see if boarding school suits your child.
Trains with world academies
One sport session every afternoon: tennis with Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia, football with LALIGA Academy Malaysia, or golf with GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy. Beginners are welcome. Each sport has intro classes.
Learns by doing
Lessons are projects, not memorising: science, drama, storytelling, creative writing and public speaking. Your child uses English to make and present real things.

You will know who is responsible for your child before they arrive. Both are on campus for the whole camp.

Responsible for welfare, the boarding houses and the care of every child. Your first contact if you are worried about your child.
- Every member of staff is vetted before camp.
- Boarding houses are single-sex, and campers are placed with their own age group. Staff live in each house.
- Staff are on duty in the boarding houses through the night.
- The school's Sanatorium gives 24-hour medical care during term, and Winter Camp runs in term time.
- If your child is unwell, we tell you the same day.
- If your child needs treatment off site, a nurse or member of staff goes with them.
- Parents have a 24-hour welfare phone line. The number is on your confirmation.
- Campers are never left without supervision.
- Only an adult named in your account can collect your child.

Dates and fees
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include SST. Flights are not included. Pay by card, bank transfer or Flywire. If you pay by bank transfer or Flywire, upload the receipt within five working days. Your place is held until then, and while we check it. Where the date offers it, you can pay a deposit now and the balance later. Day campers go home each evening, so a parent or guardian must be staying in Malaysia.

Check-in is 14:00 on the first day. Check-out is 12:00 on the last day. The Signature is Camp 1 and Camp 2 as one booking: 24 nights at exactly twice the single-camp fee, with an extra excursion to Splashmania on the changeover day, 22 January.
Places are confirmed in the order bookings arrive. Chaperoned flight seats can sell out before booking closes.

- The cost of medical, dental or hospital treatment, medicines and medical transport, which is why we ask every family to hold insurance

Phones are handed to house staff on arrival and kept safely. House staff arrange calls home, and you can always reach the camp team. You can follow camp through daily photos in your parent account.
English at camp
Every student takes the Oxford Placement Test online before arrival, so nobody spends their first morning being assessed. We teach CEFR A0 to B2 in two bands: Beginner for A0 and A1, and Intermediate for A2, B1 and B2.
Lessons are built around doing rather than memorising: STEM projects, drama, storytelling, creative writing, public speaking and real problems to solve. At the end of camp parents receive a CEFR progress report.
Sport
Students choose one sport and train in it every afternoon.
Tennis
With Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia, on the academy's own courts. Indoor courts mean rain never stops a session.
Football
With LALIGA Academy Malaysia, on the FIFA-approved 4G pitch on campus.
Golf
With GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy, on the 30-bay floodlit driving range and short-game area of the golf complex on campus, with TrackMan.
No experience needed. Beginner intro classes run in all three.

Exploratory Afternoons
Hands-on and off the page: science, coding and robotics, art, cooking, music and team challenges.
Evening programme
The part children talk about at home: house competitions, theme nights, film nights, quizzes and the end-of-camp showcase.

Meals
Full board: three meals a day in the school dining hall, plus snacks. The kitchen is halal, with Malaysian, Chinese, Korean and Western dishes and vegetarian options at every meal. Tell us about allergies and diets when you book. The kitchen plans for them before your child arrives.
Getting here
Your child can fly on our chaperoned service from Incheon, Beijing, Shanghai or Taipei. A camp chaperone meets your child at the departure airport, stays with them through check-in, security and boarding, and brings them to camp. You get an update at each step.
Your child is handed over only to the named chaperone. On the way home, your child is released only to you or an adult you have named, who must show identification.

You choose a chaperoned flight at checkout, after you pick your dates. Flight prices and availability follow the market and are confirmed when you book. Seats are limited and go first-come, first-served, and the Chinese New Year period fills early.
Flights home to Incheon, Beijing and Shanghai leave the day before check-out. Our team confirms your child's flight and last day at camp with you before departure.
Travelling independently is fine too. Fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport, send us the flight details, and our team will meet your child on arrival.
Where parents stay
Tune Hotel KLIA2 is connected to the klia2 terminal and about 20 minutes by car from campus. Parents who want to be nearby, and the families of day campers, can book it at the camp rate.
Day campers join the full daily programme and are dropped off and collected each day. We confirm timings and transport with families before camp starts.

We email the link. It takes about 30 minutes and decides which class your child joins.

From camp to a place at Epsom
Camp can be your child's first step to a full-time place. Students sit Part 1 of the Epsom College Malaysia entrance test during camp. The registrar then sends details for Part 2, the online test and the interview with Admissions, and successful applicants receive a letter of offer. Applications are open for the 2027 to 2028 academic year.
Questions parents ask
Who is responsible for my child?
Simon Peter Misso-Veness, Camp Director, and David Mulae, Camp Pastoral Director, are on campus for the whole camp. Boarding house staff live in the house and are on duty through the night.
How will I know my child arrived safely?
On a chaperoned flight, the chaperone sends an update at each step. When your child is checked in at camp, we email you.
What if my child is unwell?
The school's Sanatorium gives 24-hour medical care in term time, and Winter Camp runs in term time. We tell you the same day. A nurse or member of staff goes with your child to any treatment off site.
Does my child need to speak English already?
No. We teach from A0, which is absolute beginner, up to B2. The placement test before camp tells us where to start.
Can my child stay for all 24 nights?
Yes. Book the Signature and your child stays from 10 January to 3 February in one booking, with an extra excursion to Splashmania on the changeover day.
What about phones?
Phones are handed to house staff on arrival and kept safely. House staff arrange calls home, and you can always reach the camp team.
Can my child share a house with a friend?
Tell us before camp and we place friends together where possible, within the same age group. Houses are single-sex, so a brother and sister stay in different houses.
Can we pay from outside Malaysia?
Yes. By card, bank transfer or Flywire. For a transfer or Flywire, upload the receipt within five working days and we hold the place while we check it.
What if my child has an allergy or a medical need?
Tell us when you book. The kitchen and the camp nurse plan around it in advance.
Can we come as a day camper?
Yes. Day campers join the whole daily programme and go home each evening, so a parent or guardian must be staying in Malaysia. The day fee is RM 9,100 per camp, or RM 18,200 for the Signature.
What happens on the changeover day?
Students leaving Camp 1 check out at 12:00pm and students joining Camp 2 check in at 2:00pm. Signature campers spend the day on the Splashmania excursion.
If your plans change
- Cancel more than 60 days before the first day of camp and the fee is refunded, less an administration fee of RM 500 per camper.
- Cancel 30 to 60 days before and half the camp fee is refunded.
- Cancel fewer than 30 days before, or after camp has started, and no refund is due.
- You can move once to another date or camp in the same year, free of charge, if you ask more than 30 days before the camp you booked starts, a place is free, and you pay any difference in price. A later move is treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
- If we cancel a camp, you choose: a full refund of everything you paid us for it, or a move to another date.
- Chaperoned travel is refunded only as far as the airline refunds us.
- If you asked us for a visa support letter when you booked and we issued it, a refusal you show us in writing before camp starts is refunded in full, less the administration fee. Any other visa refusal follows the dates above.
- Refunds go back to the way you paid, within 14 days of us confirming the refund.
- Please hold travel and medical insurance for the whole trip, including cancellation.
