Epsom College Malaysia brings together a rigorous British education, strong pastoral care, and a genuinely international community on one campus.

Epsom College Malaysia carries the same academic standards as Epsom College UK, a school founded in 1855. That foundation now sits within an international community in an Asian setting. Students study a British curriculum alongside peers from more than 30 nationalities, a mix that shapes daily campus life.

A rigorous British curriculum, taught by experienced educators, from Early Years to Year 13.

Small house groups, dedicated tutors, and a team who know every student personally.

22+ sports and 100+ activities, from competitive fixtures to creative pursuits.

A genuinely international community of 30+ nationalities, learning and living together.

Students follow a British curriculum, IGCSEs and A Levels in small classes taught by subject specialists, 90% of them UK-trained and many living on site. Learning support and English as an additional language are part of the timetable rather than an extra. Leavers go on to universities in the UK, the US and beyond.

At the end of Year 9 students choose their IGCSE options; in the Sixth Form they take three A Levels, with the Extended Project Qualification as an option, or from August 2026 the IB Career-related Programme, with university guidance from the start of Year 12. Projected grades, references and personal statements are handled by a dedicated team.

The school welcomes applications from Early Years to Sixth Form, with the main intake in August and admission during the year considered where a place exists. Its published scholarships are ECM Libra Foundation full and partial awards for academically gifted students from across ASEAN, applied for through the foundation; the school publishes no sports or music scholarship, so ask the admissions team before assuming one. Families abroad can begin with a video consultation and a campus tour on a later visit.
An enquiry, then a short call with our team or the admissions team; assessment papers in English and mathematics with an interview, in person or online; an offer; then the deposit, visa paperwork for international students and a start date. Admission during the year is possible where a place exists.
ECM Libra Foundation applications go directly to the foundation, which with the admissions team confirms the criteria, the deadlines and what an award covers. We do not quote figures on this page.

Nine single-sex boarding houses are each led by a Housemaster or Housemistress with resident tutors and pastoral staff, at least seven adults in every house. Registered nurses are on duty during the school day, with 24-hour medical care in the Sanatorium during term time. Weekends are full: excursions, sport, house events and time to rest. All staff are trained in child protection, no student is ever left alone in the boarding house, and only staff of the same gender are on duty with students.

House staff keep parents informed through the term and are reachable directly; academic reports arrive each term. Phones are managed in the younger houses so boarders sleep and study; older students have more freedom within clear rules.

Epsom lessons are built around discussion, with students questioning material as they work through it. Teachers set tasks that ask students to defend their own conclusions. That habit of reasoning things through carries into how students approach problems outside the classroom.

Away from home, students build the confidence and independence to navigate new situations. Boarding house life asks them to take on small responsibilities early, from managing their own time to looking out for younger students. These are skills that stay with them long after they leave Epsom.

At Epsom, trying something unfamiliar is part of ordinary school life. Sport, music, art and leadership roles are open to students regardless of their prior experience. Many try something new before they leave, whether a sport or a stage role.

All three of our academies: Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia, GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy, and LALIGA Football Academy train on campus, so an athlete's coaching and schooling sit in one timetable. Every student plays; committed athletes join an academy programme with training, competition and a pathway to university sport.
An 11-court ITF-grade tennis complex with the only two indoor clay courts in Southeast Asia, a 30-bay floodlit driving range with TrackMan on a five-acre golf complex, a FIFA-approved 4G football pitch, hockey, rugby and cricket pitches, a swimming pool, a sports hall and a fitness centre. Coaches and teachers share one calendar, so a tournament never collides with an examination unnoticed.
Swimming, athletics, badminton, basketball, netball, hockey, volleyball and cricket have fixtures through the year, in the Kuala Lumpur Sports League, FOBISIA tournaments and selected Malaysian state school events.
Students choose from sport, music, art and leadership activities across the co-curricular programme. Some commit to one activity competitively; others move between several across a term. Activities are built into the weekly timetable alongside academic lessons.
