The LALIGA Taster Camp is the perfect short-term experience for players who want to discover life at Epsom College in Malaysia while immersing themselves in the LALIGA Academy Football Programme.
Each day features team and individual training sessions led by official LALIGA coaches, with mornings and afternoons dedicated to developing technical skills, tactical awareness and overall performance. Beyond the pitch, players enjoy the swimming pool, sports halls, boarding houses and social activities with peers from all around the world.
This camp is not only about football: it is also about personal growth, teamwork and experiencing a multicultural environment that reflects the values of Epsom College and LALIGA Academy.
Coached by LALIGA Academy Malaysia
Academy coaches run the training, using the academy's own method. On the first morning, coaches set groups by age and level.
A written note from the coach
At the end, your child's coach writes down where they stand and what to work on next. If a full-time academy place makes sense, the coaches say so plainly. If not, they say what to work on.
A taste of British boarding
Your child lives in an Epsom College Malaysia boarding house, with house staff living in the house. It is the easiest way to find out if boarding school suits your child.

Day campers are dropped off and collected each day.
부모님은 기숙사에 들어가실 수 없습니다. 도착일과 출발일 외에는 비상시에만 캠퍼스를 방문할 수 있으며, 사전에 캠프 직원과 일정을 조율해야 합니다.

Is my child good enough?
All levels are welcome. Coaches place each player by age and level on the first morning.
Will I get feedback?
Yes. Your child's coach writes a note at the end: where your child stands and what to work on next.
Can this lead to a full-time place or a scholarship?
It can. Coaches tell you plainly whether a full-time pathway makes sense. A place or a scholarship is decided by Epsom College Malaysia admissions, not promised at camp.
Who is it for?
Players who want to try the LALIGA camps. It suits beginners to intermediate players.
How long is it?
4 days of training, Tuesday to Friday, with residential check-in on the Monday.
What is the LALIGA methodology?
Four pillars: technical and coordination, tactical and cognitive, physical and conditional, and psychological and socio-affective, combined in real match scenarios.
Who are the coaches?
Diego Gutierrez Ramos, Technical Director and Head Coach, with 10+ years training players from 5 to 38 worldwide and 7+ years with LALIGA, and Ignacio Buendia Molina, Performance Coach, with 5+ years training players in Spain and 3+ years with LALIGA.
What can be added?
Optional English language tuition at all levels, chaperoned flights from select destinations, excursions in Malaysia, and airport transfers at a cost.

- 그 이후 프로그램 시작 전에 저희가 인정하는 사유를 서면으로 제출하고 취소하시면, 납부하신 비용에 대해 1년간 유효한 크레디트 노트를 발급해 드리며 연기 수수료 RM1,000이 공제됩니다. 그러한 사유가 없으면 납부하신 비용은 환불되지 않습니다.
- 어느 경우든 보증금은 거래 비용을 공제한 후 돌려드립니다.
- 프로그램이 시작된 후에는 취소, 늦은 도착 또는 결석(질병으로 인한 경우 포함)에 대해 환불되지 않습니다.
- 저희가 프로그램을 취소하거나 변경하는 경우, 저희 재량에 따라 환불 또는 새 일정을 제공합니다.
- 저희가 통제할 수 없는 사건으로 프로그램이 취소되거나 연기되면, 납부하신 비용에 대해 1년간 유효한 크레디트 노트를 발급해 드립니다.
