What your child gains
Development is run entirely on site at the GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy at Epsom College Malaysia. Players build confidence and refine their technique through structured daily sessions, making tangible improvements across all areas of their golf.

The Development Camp is for beginners and players newer to the game. It runs entirely on site, with structured daily sessions across every part of their golf.
A facility built for training
A 5-acre golf facility on campus: a 30-bay covered driving range, a natural grass range, two TrackMan studios, a short game area with greenside and fairway bunkers, and a fitness centre.
A national training partner
GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy is a National Junior Development Programme training partner of the Malaysian Golf Association. Head Coach: Travis Van Dijk.
A taste of British boarding
Your child lives in an Epsom College Malaysia boarding house, with house staff living in the house. It is the easiest way to find out if boarding school suits your child.

A training day
- 08:00Full swing training (30 minutes)
- 08:30Development: practice at GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy. Performance and up: PGA coach guided 9 holes (3 hours)
- 11:30Lunch and rest
- 13:00Short game training (1.5 hours)
- 14:30Sports activities, or mental coaching, fitness or TrackMan for High-Performance and Professional
- 15:30Afternoon tea
- 16:00Rest. Professional: a 1-hour private lesson
- 17:00Swimming and recovery, or other sport (1 hour)
Phones are handed to house staff on arrival and kept safely. House staff arrange calls home, and you can always reach the camp team.
Meals
Three meals a day in the school dining hall, plus snacks. The kitchen is halal, with vegetarian options at every meal. Tell us about allergies and diets when you book, and the kitchen plans for them before your child arrives.
Getting here
Epsom College Malaysia is about 20 minutes by car from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Where parents stay
Tune Hotel KLIA2 is connected to the klia2 terminal and about 20 minutes by car from campus. Parents who want to be nearby, and the families of day campers, can book it at the camp rate.
Day campers are dropped off and collected each day.
Parents cannot enter the boarding houses. Outside arrival and departure days, parents may visit campus only in an emergency, arranged with camp staff in advance.

Which level should my child choose?
First-time golf campers should start with Development or Performance. Performance and above need players who are ready for the course.
Where do they play on the course?
At Kota Seriemas Golf and Country Club, the academy's official partner, 8 minutes from Epsom College Malaysia.
Can parents stay nearby?
The academy's partner hotels are Tune Hotel KLIA2, about 20 minutes' drive away, and The Chow Kit in Kuala Lumpur, about 1 hour away.
How are places given?
First come, first served, subject to availability. Registrations received with payment have priority.
What are the four levels?
Development, on site, for beginners and players newer to the game. Performance adds PGA coach guided 9 holes on the course. High-Performance adds a daily session in mental coaching, specialised fitness or TrackMan data. Professional adds a daily 1-hour private lesson.
Which level should a first-time camper choose?
Development or Performance: they give the core foundations. Performance and above need players who are ready for the course.
What are the facilities?

What happens after I book?
We email you, and your account lists the camper profile and forms to complete before camp.
If your plans change
- Withdraw more than 60 business days before the programme starts and the fees and any security deposit you paid us are refunded, less a cancellation fee of RM1,000 and any transaction costs, such as bank transfer and payment gateway fees.
- Withdraw after that but before the programme starts, with a reason we accept in writing, and you receive a credit note for the fees paid, valid for one year, less a deferment fee of RM1,000. Without such a reason, the fees paid are forfeited.
- In either case, any security deposit is returned to you, less transaction costs.
- Once the programme has started, nothing is refunded for withdrawal, late arrival or days missed, including through illness.
- If we cancel or change a programme, we offer a refund or new dates, at our discretion.
- If events beyond our control cancel or delay a programme, you receive a credit note for the fees paid, valid for one year.
- Money paid to others, such as transport or hotels, is not refunded by us.
- Please hold travel, personal accident and medical insurance for the whole programme.
